ORIGAMI FLOWERS
Origami flowers make great decorations and can be easily made with scraps of paper. We have also used several of our fun embellishments to decorate the centers of these flowers.
These flowers have some of our RESIN FLOWERS in SKY, NAVY and YELLOW, plus we have used some beautiful MIRROR PEARLS in LINEN as accent embellishments.
To make your own flowers, follow the tutorial below! You can start with any size of paper square! The flowers shown above were made with paper cut to 2.5" square.
Once you have finished the flowers, you can mount them onto wooden sticks and add them to a vase (see below). These will last for years to come and are great for people unable to tolerate fresh flowers due to allergies or illness.
Give these flowers a try – you do not have to use double sided paper and if you grab a big glass of wine – you could make heaps in front of the TV in an evening! How about using them for:
- A table display for Christmas
- A bunch of flowers that never fades
- Party favours
- Someone who can’t have fresh flowers (allergies, people undergoing chemotherapy)
